We understand that finding a Sitter who aligns with your expectations can be challenging. At Westchase Sitters, we take the extra steps to carefully interview, verify, and train our Sitters according to the Westchase Sitters standards, ensuring they are well-prepared for their role. Our Sitters are not only full of energy but also possess kindness and compassion. They approach your precious children and fur babies with utmost respect and provide the nurturing care they deserve.
Our Sitters meet the following requirements:
Pass a comprehensive background check
Complete a driving record screening
Hold current CPR and First Aid certification
Be at least 18 years old
Have prior experience in babysitting and pet sitting
Be committed to ongoing education in
childcare and pet care

Brooke Santiesteban
Founder & CEO
Hello! I’m thrilled you’re here. I’m Brooke Santiesteban, the CEO and Founder of Westchase Sitters. I have the privilege of personally vetting all our amazing team members and supporting them during their time with us. I also match families with Nannies and work behind the scenes to ensure we provide the highest level of care.
As a true Tampanian with deep family roots in the Tampa Bay Area, I attended The University of Tampa on a dual athletic and academic scholarship, completing my Bachelor’s degree in just 2.5 years. My studies focused on Human Performance and Childhood Development, and I gained invaluable experience as a private Nanny and Babysitter for many families.
Children and animals have always held a special place in my heart. As a long-time nanny, trusted neighborhood babysitter, dog mom, and go-to person for unique care needs, I founded Westchase Sitters to address a gap in our community for a reliable resource that families can trust for exceptional child and pet care. I envisioned a platform akin to Uber, where families and Sitters can effortlessly connect.
After college, I ran a successful local business while continuing to Nanny and Babysit nearly every weekend. It was shortly after that I decided to expand my reach and create Westchase Sitters. In my spare time, I love spending time outdoors with my dogs, cooking, and weight lifting. Thank you for being part of our community!
Destiny Draggett
Director of Operations
Hi there! As the Director of Operations at Westchase Sitters, every day feels like putting together a bright and beautiful pastel puzzle. At any given time, you might hear from me about your application to join our fabulous team or receive a welcoming call as we bring your family into ours. I also have the pleasure of serving as the go-to person for our Founder and CEO.
As a top-tier boutique pet-sitting and babysitting agency, there are many moving parts! My role is to keep everything in working order and moving in the right direction. This might mean adjusting family requests, creating newsletters, brainstorming improvements, or chatting with our team to see "What’s working?" and "What isn’t?"
Before joining Westchase Sitters, I primarily worked in the non-profit human services sector. I gained experience supporting children, teens, and families as a 4-H Youth Development Coordinator, Student Advocate, Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor, and Volunteer Manager. These roles taught me patience, kindness, empathy, and the importance of meeting people where they are—all values I bring to our Westchase Sitters and Families.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, gardening, cooking, and snuggling with my cat, Kit. I look forward to being part of your Westchase Sitters journey; we’re so happy you’re here!
Emily Ritchie
Director of Marketing and Events
Hi there! I’m Emily Ritchie, a proud Clemson University graduate with a B.S. in Packaging Science and Business. My heart is deeply rooted in the Westchase community, where I grew up and continue to stay actively involved.
For the past eight years, I’ve dedicated my free time to nannying for private families and teaching swim lessons, fueled by my passion for child development and community service.
As the Director of Marketing and Events, I have the privilege of building partnerships with local businesses, hosting Sitter appreciation days, planning social meet-and-greets, coordinating volunteer and sponsorship activities, and staying current with industry trends to create engaging social media content. I’m thrilled to be part of this amazing agency and am committed to growing our presence and service in the community, one day at a time.
My family has a mini Goldendoodle named Bryzzo, and I love taking him on walks and visiting the beach. Whether you need a pet sitter, a Sitter to take your children on field trips, or after-school pick-up assistance, we’re here to help!
