Qualifications & Requirements
⟢ You are required to be 18 years or older
⟢ At least two years of experience in childcare
⟢ You must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain
⟢ Agree to undergo a background check and reference verification
⟢ Possess a clean driving record and have your own reliable transportation
⟢ Maintain a constant focus on being dependable and punctual at all times
⟢ Have a clean cut and professional appearance
⟢ Ensure that your social media presence remains professional and appropriate at all times

To become a Sitter, you must:
Be 18 years or older

Yes! Each Sitter receives an exploration bag designed to help you engage with children in a fun, creative, and meaningful way.
We encourage you to bring your bag to each job and utilize it to create a positive, memorable experience for the families you care for.

Sometimes! Families may request a Meet & Greet before a booking, especially for longer or overnight care (we require them for overnights if you do not already know the family). These are typically scheduled and compensated. They can also be done virtually with no cost to the family.

As part of joining our team, we provide you with a Westchase Sitters team shirt. You are welcome to purchase more! We ask that you wear your shirt to the majority of jobs to represent the agency as a whole and present a professional, polished experience, though it is not required.
Sitters should always dress modestly and appropriately for a professional childcare setting.
For certain roles, attire guidelines may vary based on the environment and may be requested by businesses or community partners we support.

If you need to cancel, you must do so through the app as soon as possible. Last-minute cancellations may impact your standing on the team.
